Bucking at freeway speeds

Hey there, I have an issue with my 2001 F4i. The other day I was cruising on the 202 at around 6k in 6th gear. Every few seconds the bike would buck back and forth like I was riding head-first into a choppy headwind. Still has excellent throttle response and power is as good as can be. I know with cars, a worn TPS would cause a condition like the one I have mentioned, but I was inquiring if anyone on here has had a similar concern. No FI codes to alert me of a TPS fault, any input would be appreciated!!!

were u low on gas? not saying this to be a jerk or anything, sometimes its the simple things... but i have no idea bout the tps. do u have the service manual yet?

Just try a new tank of gas, I think this is happening because of a sludge buildup, and it just goes through the engine. It's happened to me twice, but ever since then, I haven't had any issues.

Are all your connections, specifically on the battery, tight?

Believe it or not my bike would run fine but occasionally buck even on slower roads. It was the battery connections.

try 87-my bike ran like crap on 91 and 93, well, it ran ok but it feels more responsive and especially smoother with the 87 not a TON but enough to make me keep running it

87 huh? Hmm I'll give it a shot, and I'll check the connections. Thanks!

yeah in the owners manual it says 86, but 87 is the closest i got here
