hay guys i got a little problem i need some help with i just bought a 05 f4i about a month ago and i love except the seat lock is busted when you put the key in it turns just like it should but it wont unlock what is the easist way to get the seat off and fix the lock thanks

 

Im not familiar with the solo seat so I dont know if this is possible, but can you remove the grab rail without lifting the seat? If you can you can stick something through to yank on the cable.

 

this happened to me back in the day... if u keep messin with it eventually itll work once its off ide check and make sure everything is copacetic...

 

im not sure if this will help buy my bike when i got it the seat lock didnt work but the guy had a metal string attached that you pull and it would do the job.
