Best all-around oil for the '05 F4i... HP4 Blended. or full synthetic?

Also, does one really have to break the bike in for 600 miles? And how easy do you really have to be on it during that time? Can you occasionally rev it up and take it to 12,000rpm for short bursts?

 

I was told by my dealer that for break in you really don't need to baby it but don't abuse it. Basically vary the rpm's. He told me I could take it to redline just not to leave it there.

 

That's kinda what I was thinking...

From what I was reading at Motoman's site, I am gonna change the oil today. I have about 75 miles on it and there is plenty og crud in the oil already.
