Brake Pads - so MANY choices
I'm new to street bikes and now own a '99 CBR F4.
Break feel is good, but I'm going to replace all the pads, fluids, etc before the next riding season. Any recommendations on brake pads? Also, this is probably a dumb question, but do i need to get the rotors cut by a bike shop before i put on the new pads?
This bike will never be stunted or raced and I'm a weekend grease monkey, so if i can get the parts, I'm pretty good and putting it all together....dificult to pads on a bike?
I found these on Ebay and thought they looked pretty good...but again, i'm a rookie:

I'm a seriously open to any and all recommendations.
Thanks.

RE: Brake Pads - so MANY choices
Well I don't have much experience with alot of different brands, only the stock pads, EBC HH, and now Galfer. All were very good pads, IMO, but I think I like the Galfer the best. Seems to have the quickest 'bite'.
The ones you posted I've never heard of that brand before... seems kinda generic but I could be wrong. But personally when it comes to brakes I dont' cheap out on stuff I haven't heard of before

RE: Brake Pads - so MANY choices
I just bought 2 sets of Galfer HH pads for front and Galfer Black for the rear. I installed them about 3 weeks ago along with bleeding the system on both ends. They seem to have good bite and even felt good in the rain yesterday. Indysuperbikes.com has them in stock and I walked out with a good deal.
