Bolt behind stator cover leaking

Bolt behind stator cover leaking

Slightly strange issue, on the left side case, behind the stator, there are two bolts that face downwards. What do these secure? One appears to be leaking, is a copper crush gasket used?

I imagine it will be the coolant drain that is being referred to?
