Default bike won't start

went to take my bike out for the first time this spring. put a new battery in and filled it up with gas. went to start the bike, but it will not turn over, it will just crank and crank with nothing happening. anyone give any advise to help remedy this situation? anything would be helpful.

the bike is not turning over, plugs or gas would have no effecton that
is the bike just making clicking sounds when u trying to start it?
Maybe the batt u put in is toast, get a multimeter and check
