RE: bike wont start
So the starter turns the engine? Check the fuel lines... maybe clogged injectors?
Did you crash before this happened? If so check the tip sensor... dont remember if the fuel pump primes when the tip sensor is out.
Does it start (starter) with the clutch pulled in? If so it could be the neutral sensor that's bad and not letting the engine start since it thinks the bike's not in neutral.
It wont start in gear (push start) if the kickstand sensor is bad... making the bike think that the kickstand is down.
just throwing out ideas

RE: bike wont start
Thanks for the input... i didnt crash it but i would like to hear more about the tip sensor you are talking about. I just got really pissed off today and took it down to my local shop... after the spitting problem and then this... someone is going to fix it... just because im not a patient person at all.

RE: bike wont start
Just search the forums for more details... as people do crash
The tip (as in tipped over, there's probably a more formal name to it like bank angle) sensor switches off your bike if it falls down, so the motor doesn't keep running with wheels spinning, something split open and stuff flying around. Sometimes even if nothing much happens to the bike, the sensor doesn't reset properly when the bike is righted. So you have to fiddle with it/change it to be able to run the engine again. Its in the headlight assembly.
