Bike wont start!
i have an 02 that i sold to a friend on payments. when he couldnt afford it anymore he gave it back to me and told me one day it ran fine then the next it just wouldnt start... when i got it back there was no oil in it so i changed out what oil was in and changed the spark plugs. the bike turns on but the fuel pump wont prime and there is absolutely no spark.. any ideas of what the problem could be??

Ok tried the tip sensor no change... all my fuses are good except when i plug in my turn signals for some reason it always pops it regardless of how big of fuse i put in it... i took it to a shop to have a diagnostics run on it for 45 bucks and all the guy said was i have a problem electrically and it could take forever to find the problem

get a multimeter, and check that your getting power to the fuel pump/primer. and first before anything check the batteries. if that doesn't work check the killswitch. had a problem like that on my katana, only it would shut off while riding it. not good when entering a curve. multimeter will be your best friend on that ordeal. let me know how it turns out.

My friend had same problem just bought the bike rode it down the street
and it died, every thing comes on except the fuel pump. Checked everything
tip sensor, kick, stand, relays, fuses, and removed the fuel pump and ran power
to it and it worked. So lucky he bought it from a dealer took it back and they
said it was the ecu. Gets it back tuesday I will let you know if it's fixed.

Very common problem is the connector itself. The headlight harness to be specific, the ground terminals inside the plug don't make good enough contact. Also you proly wired up your front signals backwards. I've learned from experience that sometimes the green wire (on the signal) is actually the hot wire not the ground. Thats why you keep popping fuses. I'll be more than happy to collect that $45 shop fee, and I'll actually help, instead of blowing smoke up your **** like the stealership.
