Default Bike is sinking

So i moved to a new apartment complex...i guess the pavement sucks...because my kickstand sinks in and was to the point of falling over...is there anything to help this problem? and NO i cant just park somewhere else...thanks

File a formal complaint with your building manager/owner. That is an unacceptable condition that I am sure you were not aware of at the time of purchase.

4"x4" piece of 1/4" plywood under the kickstand. Spreading the weight out a little should keep the kickstand from "digging" in. Something metal would probably work better and last a little longer.

ye i thought about a piece of metal...i just dont want to come outside and my bike is laid over

google "kickstand puck" or "kickstand plate". and some ppl simply flatten a drink can.

This. Crush a can and put it under the stand. It distributes the weight to a wider area. This is also useful if you have to park in grass or (packed) dirt.

I keep an aluminum disc (pully off a lawnmower engine) in my trunk. I learned the hard way, by fixing my hydrolocked mtor.
