Bike shorts when ignition is turned off

Hi ppl

Ive been riding crb 600s for a decade and have a 2004 F4i

I use it everyday for a 50mile round trip and the UK road have been covered in crap over the winter so it taking a bit of a hit. Last week the clock kept resetting every time i turned of the ignition.(ridiculously annoying not knowing how filter happy happy you need to be to avoid being late but not a big issue) This week when you turn of the ignition the power cuts and stays off until you turn the ignition. As soon as you do the start up pattern kicks in and clock is reset as are the trips. So this is what i know so far...
It doesn't happen when the the kill switch is used, this just cuts the engine.
The tacho locks it idle speed is the ignition is turned off.
Ive checked the fuses and cleaned the fuse box.
The main 30A fuse and four way red connector has been replaced as it crumbled when checked.
The battery is in good condition and the connectors have been cleaned.
Ive disconnected the alarm and that made no difference.
It doesn't flicker or short out at any point during a ride even when ridden aggressively to check.
The HISS light works as normal, no error displayed and green light operates as standard.

Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated as im baffled.

Thanks

Tim

Hi , it does sound like ignition switch related, have you checked the 4 pin connector at the ignition switch, with close attention to the Red wire, that goes down to the fuse box and through the box to a Red/Green wire to the Instrument Panel
