Today me an my buddy were riddin on the highway i opened it up on a straightaway got up to around 150 and the bike started cuttin out and the fi light came on so i pulled over an it was fine so i opened it up again when i took off an the same thing happened. Any ideas? Thanks

 

you can diagnose that code by jumping a few wires together near the ECU

the programmed fuel injection system is equiped with the self diagnostic system described on page 5-6. if the malfunction indicator lamp blinks, follow the self diagnostic procedures to remedy the problem
(thats your FI light)

this is from the shop manual so you may want to download it for better information.
turn the ignition off
short the system service check connecter with a jumper wire (its the one near the ecu)
turn the ignition to ON and the engine stop to RUN
if the ecm has self diagnosis memory data, the MIL will start blinking when you turn the ignition switch to on.
count the blinks and look in the manual, google f4i shop manual its on these forums somewhere

remember that a solid light before the blinking counts as 10 blinks.

 

I got the solid blink then 9 after that so that would be 19 anyone know what that code is i cant download the manual on my phone for some reason
