2001 cbr f4i Ok this has happen a few times now it wont start at all someone help. The bikes side markers stay on, the headlight and brights
dont work but the bright light indicator is on, it cranks over good but the fuel pump dont primp at all. If you hold the starter button down itll stay on. PLEASE HELP>

 

The ground connection in your headlight assy might be loose. Look for it in the service manual at stephygee.com

 

i have the same prob. wiggle the headlight/gauge cluster harness/connector. sometimes it'll get a bad connection (god only knows why). you'll hear the fuel pump prime and the lights will go off.

the harness/connector is on the left side of the bike thru the front-most opening in the side fairing...right about parallel to the top left corner of the radiator

what are you looking for bad on that connection, i looked and looks ok is there any voltage there at all.
STILL WONT START!

 

i hope not. that should be the ground pin(on the grey connector)
