Bike Covers

I'm not sure how much bike covers vary in quality but if they do can anyone suggest a good cover? I saw this cover
http://www.cheapcycleparts.com/produ...custom?find=H0
and it seems decently priced but I'm not finding many reviews on any covers. Just to give you an idea of when the cover will be used, I live in an apartment so when the weather is decent it is sitting outside but during the winter it will be stored in a garage. Any tips or suggestions on buying a cover?

Thanks,
John

If youre just going to use it when its sitting in a garage any cover will do to keep dirt/dust/debris off of it. Its not gonna have to protect it from rain, snow, or any other elements so that cover will be fine.

I have close to the same one and I have no garage just in my driveway and it does the trick keeps dirt and rain off. I paid $45 for mine from the local motorcycle shop.

I picked one up from walmart. They had a indoor cover and a outdoor. I bought the outdoor and it is a nice cover. Paid 30 bucks and has already seen rain and snow and protected great. Oh and it is shielded on the inside so you can stick it on your bike when its hot and it wont melt to the exhaust.

In the garage...a bed sheet from wallys world :-)

Anything works. I had sheets on mine for a while, then just got a cheap small cover, I can carry it in like ANY bag.

The bike is exposed to rain during the riding season. But am I correct in assuming that that cover should work fine during the rain as well?

it will absolutely protect it from rain. some condensation may occur but it will be much better off than getting rained on. Your best bet is to garage it when rain is forecasted unless thats a hassle for some reason, then a cover is your next best bet

I have a friend who is willing to let me store it in his parents garage over winter but I can't really just drop it off there every time it rains. So that's why I'm looking for a cover that can handle whatever weather is thrown at it here in Indiana during the riding season. Thanks for the replies

I'd say just store it for the winter, and take it out when it's consistently warm.
