im really happy with the michellin pilot powers that came on my 06' f4i. they are harder in the center with a softer compound on the edges for mo better grip

did you buy it new? my 06' came from the factory with circa 2000 model d207's[:@]i'm gettin a rear tire friday (freakin nail) and a friend works at the dealership and also club racesrecommended the pp or the qualifer. said both were about the same. i'd go with the pp's but my front d207 only has 1500 miles on it and the guy recomended the qualifier because the profile would match up better with the d207

I have d208GP's and sometimes in the corners it feels like it's starting to break loose, so i'm a little concerned with them. Next season i'm going to switch to metzler's (M1 or M3 not sure yet)

I had D208's (not GP's) and only had problems on left side (go figure).

I'd recommend that you at least stay in the same brand/series if you're replacing only 1 tire. Also ask around for used and you may even be able to match wear rate.

my d208GP's seem to be wearing differently on the left side of the rear then the right side, i'm not exactly sure why. any suggestions?

rear tire misaligned? you take more left turns than rights, etc. it's not going to wear exactly the same.

I'm gonna check the alignment, but it is a noticable difference between the two sides. I was thinking of the possibility of more left turns then right, or maybe i'm not leaning as hard in left turns as I am in right turns...
