Best HID setup? Single/dual etc

I would like low beams and high beams with an HID setup. Right now it appears that my only choice would be to run a single HID on the low beam side and keep a regular halogen bulb on the high beam side (maybe higher wattage or something).

I honestly could care less about looks or any of that stuff. I would do the dual low beam thing but of course there would be no high beam. I noticed they do sell some dual bulbs that are like low/high beam HID or hid/xenon but they are designed for housings that already use a low/high bulb.

Anyway am I missing something? Is there any way to accomplish this without going the projector route?

HID Kits, BMW Aftermarket Bumpers & Lighting, DEPO - DDM Tuning

that in 35w, h7, and the color of your choice. Thats the best and cheapest thing you will find.

Yeah I've seen the link ..although I've seen a similar site with a similar/priced product and they have more bulb options as well as single and dual bulb kits.

Main question - Will the high beam HID light up quickly enough when I hit the high beam or should i just leave the high beam with a halogen bulb and buy a single bulb HID.

if you want a quick pop on with the high, then leave it halogen. But when you see the difference in the light output with the HID low beam, you wont stand the halogen side. With both lights on i put out more light than most older sedans and at night, thats amazing. It does take the HID bulb a few seconds to warm up fully but if you flash people with it, they will notice warm or cold.

that doesn't sound too bad, i guess i'll give the duals a go.

I preferred to keep a standard halogen for my high beam, because I wanted instant on, and the ability to flash my brights at people without negatively affecting the bulb (you aren't supposed to flash HIDs). With HID kit prices these days, you might as well buy a normal dual-light kit and just use one in your bike, keeping the other for a backup.

Wow one bad review. definitely should not buy from them even though seeing the hundreds of good reviews.
Also Where is that guy buying them at 1/3 of the price?
Less then $15 for a full HID kit? since the are triple the price.

Call me crazy but I think that blue **** looks cheap.

The big issue I'm seeing is that DDM is saying that they sell all these different bulbs and they don't. If they're lying about what kind of bulbs you're getting, what else are they lying about?
