Best Clutch?

Is there a consensus for the best aftermarket clutch kit for our bikes? I'm getting ready to replace mine and after reading all the old threads, it seems like it's between an EBC or a Barnett, the latter being about twice the price.

Lastly, what's the difference/benefit between Kevlar and Carbon Fiber?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or feedback.

im running a barnetts. i wrote them and this is what they said, "While both materials work very well, the Carbon Fiber has a higher tolerance for heat and therefore can generally handle more abuse. The wheelies tend to be hard on clutches so I recommend going with the CF." i got a great deal on my kevlar from a friend for $100 so i just went with it. I love mine!. also i asked what oil they recommend he said Motul full synthetic.

I have ran an EBC kevlar clutch before and had no problems with it. for what i used for it (daily driving to and from work), it worked great. Carbon fiber is better material, its more durable, lighter, deals with heat better than kevlar.

Its all just user preference. Google both types of clutches and see which one will better fit your needs.

I had a Barnett clutch and it burned out on my in one year. Great for riding, fast and quick. But if you like to ride on one wheel. OEM stock is the way to go.
