Best Brand of Frame Sliders?
I just got an 02 f4i and am looking to get some frame sliders. What would you guys recommend for a good brand/type?

At first, I was going with a set of cheap ebay sliders, but I searched the forum and the majority recommended the Vortex sliders. After all of the searchin the world, I ended up with the woodcraft's, they are slightly more expensive than the vortex... :p |
I like the design of the woodcraft over the vortex, that is why I chose them. If something were to happen and go down, wont be digging a bolt of the center of the puck.

Vortex, Shogun, or woodcraft are all good brands. Just stay away from no-cuts. |
vortex is the best way to go...you can easily swap the puck rather than the whole slider

Well
IF your getting sliders u better off just getting race rails, they stick out further, and protect a lil more of ya bike I got a set of RAcing 905 race rails instead of sliders on mine |
I have a set from freestyle inginuity they r about $125 but I can vouch the saved my whole when I went Down at 70mph last June

I got the Vortex bases brand new for 25 shipped. Let me know if your interested. Thanks

The bigger protection methods are more for stunting - an average street bike will be fine with frame sliders. Besides, the important part of the bike is the frame anyway - a large misconception is that they're designed to save your plastics. |
