carb vs fuel injected. I think 01 and up are all fuel injected. I here that injected were are better for gas milage and carb for performance but 115hp seems off unless its like 95 at the wheels. Thats the highest i have seen for an f4 yet thats stock.

115hp = BS. Unless he added a Type R sticker, that might net you an extra 18hp.

i would stick with something fuel injected since majority of bikes are fuel infected these days. If you are looking for the split seat verion of the f4i stay between 01-03. You should be paying more then 4500 unless it has 2 miles on it with mods.

Do you mean he shouldn't be paying more than $4500 unless it has 2 miles on it with mods?

Sorry meant no more then 4500 unless it has crazy mods and very low milage. Just seems steep imo

since it's been dropped and stuff I don't know if he's willing to go to the price that it's worth. He's def quoting high that's for sure. I wouldn't want to spend more than like $3850 on a bike that's been dropped and has 10k miles, especially with some minimal work that it needs.

so i guess carb is no good...it seemed alright for the price with only 4040 miles on it and i read that they are very comfortable to ride which is a plus, but i dont want something that was dropped alot or at all, if possible..so i guess no on the f4 and check the f4i instead?

Yes. Go with Fuel Injection..It is superior in every way...I'm not sure why carburators would give you more performance?? I'm not to famalier with newer carburators, but unless they have come full circle on technology they actually are worse for performance....They don't atomize as good and you can't adjust the amount of fuel in a certain RPM without affecting the rest of the rpm range.....
They are cheaper to add more fuel after adding mods true, but better for performance they are not...(You can always buy a bigger injector.)
