battery question
 

My bike wouldnt start and i hooked it up to a car to jump it and it started and i rode for about an hour or so. i turned it off and it wouldnt start again. Tried jumping it , but unless i leave it idoling for like an hour it dies. Should i just replace the battery or buy a charger and hook it up for a night?

hooking it up to the car probably wasnt the best idea, especially if it was running when you tried it. It sounds like you're in need of at least a battery. pull it out and you can go get it tested for free. but from the sounds of it, since you were riding the reg/rec is working, but when you shut it off the battery doesnt hold the charge.

Any one ever bought this

Ensure the cables are tight AND your idle is set to ~1300. If still no go, THEN buy a battery.
