Default Bar ends won't go in...?

Hey guys I could use some help on installing my bar ends. I can only get them in so far and then the inside part you screw them into spins with the bar end. How can I get the inside to stop spinning so the screw will go in the rest of the way?

Any help appreciated.

The inside of the bar-end is half-cut so that it mates with another half-cut piece inside the bar. If you have them lined up properly it shouldn't spin when tightening up the screw.

Did you buy aftermarket one? You have to buy a Honda CBR specific one because this same thing happend to me when I bought 'universal barends'.

Yah, they are aftermarket ones. I'll have to look into stock ones I guess.

No they have aftermarket ones that are made for our bars. Ours just have half cut piece on the bar so you need the barends to have the half cut so that you won't just spin the bolt. Good luck.

I just stuck with factory ones just because they do well on preventing vibration and sticks out enough to act as sliders too I think.

Make sure to loctite the bolt. You will end up missing a bar end one day.
