Default Arrow exhaust and Rear Pegs...

Just out of curiousity...I thought I'd ask you guys since I came up with nothing through the search function. (Everything was for the Arrow GP exhaust It seemed)

I was wondering if anyone here has experienced this problem with the Arrow exhaust? I purchased this bike two days ago and the guy told me he couldn't get the peg on the exhaust side to fit because of the bracket that came with the exhaust wont allow it.

Any input on how I can get around this? Evenutally in time I'd like to ride 2 up and wanted to get these on there.

Heres a pic of the bracket I'm dealing with. I prefer not bending anything. At least not without reffering to you guys first.

heres a video of a guy who has the same exhaust, on the same bike. If you forward to 1:00 you can see he has the OEM peg on there, I just cant see exactly how it was done.

hmm to me it looks like you have a custom bracket to replace the rear passenger pegs.. a quick google search and i couldnt find a system for to fit a f4i which may explain the brackets.. you may have to get a set of passenger pegs and try that..sorry if i am stating the obvious

Yeah I see what your saying. I tryed looking as well but could only find the replacements for the "flipout" portion of the peg rather than a whole assembly.

And I also get his statement above yours about running longer bolts but by doing that over the exhaust bracket its going to rub and look cluttered..

I actually forgot to mention that he gave me the pegs with the bike..I tryed matching it up and it looks horrible.

The exhaust would have to be pushed down about 4 -5 inches for me to run it, and the bracket holding the exhaust looks as if it would have to be elminated completely. I just don't know what I could do to support the exhaust if I were to try and run the OEM peg.

I think I may have just solved my own problem. If you look at the video and pause the frame at 1:01 you can see that his exhaust is about a half of foot away from the rear tail..

mine is a few inches higher if not more. Almost as if its being pulled up... Or am I just tripping? I should look up the arrow exhaust hanger's and see if I can find it. The one thats on my bike isn't open up on the top like that one either... The one on his bike is almost OEM like.

actually the previous owner gave me 04-06 Rear pegs... 01-03 are different. Theres a slot for the exhaust hanger on that peg for 01-03 when I looked on ebay.

Looke like the problem is solved.
