anyone recommend oil?

my 01 600f is due an oil change, I'm currently using motul 5100 but wondered if others have any views on other types I could use here in the uk?

Type any brand name of oil in the search and you will get hundreds of discussions.
There is nothing stating which brands the best just personal preferences.

Hard to beat Rotella T6 for $20/gallon

I know a lot of people, including myself, that use Mobile 1.

I always used Motul 5100 in my older bikes when I was living in Australia and the stuff was great! Why are you looking to switch? Do you want something cheaper? Are you looking for a full synthetic? Motul 300V is a great full synthetic and 7100 is a bit cheaper.

Just use the search option..there are more than enough oil threads that go into full discussion. Also google helps a ton.

You'll get a lot of people who'll vote for Rotella because you can get it at Walmart and it's cheap.

I don't know if they have Wal Mart in the UK. They might have Big-W but they don't stock all the same stuff. Not even sure Shell Rotella is an internation brand? Never heard of it before I moved to the states. Silkolene and Motul were the popular brands in Australia. Both and good but I always used Motul.
