Default Any room in here for me?

Got my F4i home last night and got a minute after work to clean her up a bit. Pics in my album and off topic. She's stock except an undertail. And I actually like the quiet sound. In case you didn't hear:

She's a 2006. I got her for $4500 with 2529 miles on her. Never been dropped. Never been on 1 wheel. Hell almost never ridden. The original owner kept apologizing for the dust on her. Best yet: she's a gift from my girlfriend (girlfriend last night said "Happy Birthday, Happy Halloween and Merry Christmas!")

Now to find good cleaning stuff in Pepboys. Tho now I have to start hand washing my girlfriend's car too. But it's worth it!

Okok... Quick peek of Ororo (yes, as in Storm from the X-Men)

I love it! My girlfriend likes it too tho she did try to ruin the moment when she saw her last night. She said two things:
  • Oooo... It matches my Beetle's color
  • Why do you have a headlight out?

Very clean, congrats! Another addition is the frame sliders by the way. Looks like it was a clean install.

great bike man, its sick that it was a gift too
my gf just started working at hooters so maybe she will make enough money in tips this summer to pick me up an f4 for christmas/ everyother holiday (just a dream)

if i had this bike i would be so paranoid anywhere i went whether i locked it up or not. ive heard too many stories about newer bikes getting stolen, it makes me never want to get a newer bike for fear of it not being there when i come back.

have fun with your new toy

I forgot about those. Yeah the original owner had them installed before he rolled it out the dealer. They even have some type of grommet around the holes they cut in the fairings.

My girlfriend is angling for a more permanent change in her relationship status. Shh... don't tell her but I was thinking that before she went and did this Its also how our relationship works tho. I pay all the bills from my job. She pays for all the toys and the "I wanna go to <insert event / location>" from her job. I don't ask for much so she gets to pay off her debts with cash to spare (we both make about the same salary).

Paranoid? Dude, she's locked up behind a chain link fence with razor wire on top. And because I haven't had time to install my alarm in her, I have her chained, frame to frame, to my F3. Gonna have a very awkward 2 bike steal with the F3's alarm screaming bloody murder

Hey, nice bike.

That is almost like how I got mine. 2188 miles for $4150, but mine is an 2004. You got a really good deal.

Was it a local buy? or long distance/internet buy?

Can't wait to see your mods you put into it!

Be safe!

Craigslist find. But while in the next state, it was only 30 miles away.

I think other than the alarm and LED kit, I'm going to leave her as she is. My F3 has a Two Bros slipon installed. And the change in sound is kinda pleasant. Almost like the F3 is a machete and the F4i is a scapel, more precise and surgical but just as dangerous.
