Default update!! new pics

so i finished tacking the subframe today, took forerever because i wasted alot of time assuming that the tail was straight and symetrical, obviously being fibreglass its not, duh wish i thought of it in the beginning

i shortened it about an inch and reduced the angle, im very happy with how its coming out, needs some shaving etc but getting there

after realising its not straight and cutting it all up again had to do it on the bike so i could keep putting the fairing on and checking it

Looking good man!

I thought about modifying an OEM one but the OEM fairing shape might not fix too well into the tank...

Not a fan of swapping tails - the lines never look right in my opinion.

But good luck on the project and keep us updated. Custom work is always fun to watch.

I know what you mean, hoping to be the exception to the rule

Lol fair question, because I got it for $1500 smashed with under 10k miles on it, I do all the work myself and I just love it, but the handling left me wanting more because I usually have race fairings on it and use it at the track, I got all the stuff cheap all up it owes me less than 4 grand that's including buying it and registering it repairing it to it's stock state and then doing all the mods
05 600rr swingarm
07 1000rr front end
09 1000rr tail
Bits of everything lol
