Well it's up to the states, that's not a Federal issue just like speed limits and helmets aren't up to the Federal gov't. But I'm with you 100%. MSF really gives you good solid tendencies to build off of!

I wouldn't say they've all increased. Can't believe they removed the helmet laws here.. damn fool idea if you ask me. Ever seen someone shoot a watermelon with a shotgun? That's the image I get when I see someone without a helmet.. *cringe*

 

you're right but the federal govt does pressure their wishes on the states by with holding needed grant money if the states dont do like they want lol

 

Brake in...Accelerate out...usually slower entry speeds can yeild much faster exit speeds...you'll feel like your going to get a slower time(track) but usually your faster...be safe, and take an MSF

 

Gah, don't even get me started on refresher courses for drivers, haha.

And they have increased the laws for the most part, but I agree, the helmet business is nonsense.

the no helmet law is BS. at my university, i see so many people that ride scooters without helmets. they think that since they don't go as fast a motorcycle, they don't have to gear up. they don't realize 30 mph is the same on a scooter or motorcycle.

 

Exactly.

Same goes for cruisers/choppers/etc.

They think that just because they don't have crotch rockets doesn't mean their asses will slide on gravel just as well as ours will.

Last I checked, velocity isn't bias.
