When I bought the bike the tube with the res is gone. I just have short intakes on the bike. Seems super throaty and pulls hard up high.

 

oy, this confuses me Smurf.. see I thought the resonator mod and the clean air mod were separate mods. Are they or are they not? Please, someone shed light.

 

Resonator mod if I understand what you are thinking. You just remove the two triangle boxes above your intake and cap the holes with a sticker. I've read that this achieves real ram air because it becomes just one tube with no resistance from the resonators.

The clean air mod which is the link I posted has nothing to do with the resonators.

 

Ok, I see it now. Got rid of the triangle thingies yesterday, patched the holes. I don't know if I notice a difference in sound really... but I'd like to think I do. ha ha
