ok, getting my bike back together after a lowside back in september. pretty much got all ;the wiring hooked up except for lights and got the guages back on and all that good stuff. tried to start it up and the fuel ignition doesnt wanna come on. the motor will turn over but it just wont fire up. anybody got any suggestions on what could be wrong. any thoughts please say so.

 

If the bike hasnt been started since then cycle the kill switch from off to run a couple times then try to start it. If the fuel pump primes then good, if it doesnt look for fuses or something left unplugged. My guess is going for the first one.

 

cycled the kill switch a few times, didnt work. checked all the fuses and didnt find anything. ive checked the wiring a few times and everything seems to be hooked up right.

 

Gotta cycle it with the key on hopefully u did that. Is the fuel pump priming? can you hear it turn on.

 

yeah did it with the key on. the fuel pump isnt priming.

 

Do you have the headlight unit connected? If not then it's prolly your tip over sensor. Connect your headlight unit and she'll prime right up.

 

dont have a new headlight yet to hook up. guess ill have to get one asap so i can make sure thats all it is. lol, and here i am going crazy trying to figure it outtriple checking everything i already did. lol. thanks forthe help though. much appreciation.

 

Yea forgot about that i figured everyone knew about plugging in the tip over sensor haha

 

lol, yeah that never even crossed my mind

 

if you want to test it without the headlight, you can use a wire as a jumper and bypass the BAS. im pretty sure its the green and red wires that you jump together
