AHHHH!!! I gouged my tail fairing
I was cutting off a remaining piece of rear fender with a hacksaw and gouged my tail fairing. My buddy says he can fix it with some fiberglass resin. Can I easily find the paint to match? It's the dark candy red or should I replace the whole tail fairing? If so, where can I get one? Bike is an '05

You can buy the right color touchup paint. You made a $20 or so mistake, though. Doh!

EDIT:: I take that back, i dont see '05 F4i red listed, you may have to look elsewhere, but you can find it.

i can tell you from experience you'll never be able to blend in the paint. it has a silver base coat and translucent red top coat. need more than one top coat too. pull off the stickers and paint the whole thing. it will save you a lot of frustration.
or, if it's just a few scratches, use some spot and scratch filler (red stuff in tube) and use the touch-up pens from color-rite.com.
