Default aftermarket gauge cluster

anybody replaced their gauges?
i was looking at koso rx-2... great looking and expensive!!!
do you know any other brands as well?

Oh man, wow. $380? That is expensive. Looks nice though. Do you think the full fuel gauge feature would work on that? or just activate when it hits reserve? I've thought about changing the backlight like here http://www.bluegauges.com/motorcycle/f4i.htm but at that point I might as well do it myself if its just LEDs

yeah i was thinking on doing the led swap myself, looking at the koso thing however the leds on the edge of the tacho are so sweeeet
i wonder if there's enough space inside the f4i stock unit to fit leds on the edge of the tacho.

Well, depending on how good at soldering and circuitry you are, you could probably run a couple SMT LEDs along the edge facing inwards. It all depends on how small a package size you can find like 0603's or something. I agree with you though that the ideal choice for looks is the koso, just not ideal on my wallet size

Done what? Replace them or have BlueGauges do the LED swap?

BlueGauges did mine - they're awesome.
