Default Aftermarket front turn signals?

Hey everyone. I'm just trying to see what my options are for front turn signal because I currently still have the stock turn signals on my 2002 f4i. I have had trouble finding pictures of what they look like once installed on the bike. I am worried that although they will look good, they will be less visible and making it more dangerous for me. Ideally I would like a turnsignal that does not sit exactly flush with the fairing but more or less "bubbles" over it. I saw the hotbodies turnsignals but they actually do run flush with the fairing and I feel that they would not be visible in the daytime.

Here are the hotbodies flush mount turn signals.

I started looking at the Rumble Concept Ghost LEDs but I have been unable to find a picture of what they actually look like installed. Here is a link for them.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for turn signals? I have been doing a lot of research and I'm having a hard time finding what I am looking for unless I lurk the picture threads and message individuals, which I am doing. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

All flush mounts are going to cut down on visability. Protons are the brightest, and probably the most expensive as well. Here is a picture of my bike with Hotbodies flush mounts. The pic in your link I dont think is a F4i.

If you are worried about visibility then stick with the stock signals. 5 or 6 leds, in a flush mount turn signal, are not going to be as near as visible as the bulb from the stock turn signal. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda...Q5fAccessories These signals still use bulbs but personally I think they are the ugliest looking signals you can get, even over stock. They look like you just glued a mouse, that lights up, on the side of your bike. Also, in order to install them properly, you have to remove the stock mounting plastic by cutting it out or punching it out.

Thanks for replying and posting a picture. Those look like they do bubble out on the F4i. I know that the picture on the website was not an F4i but since I had no information to say otherwise I assumed they would fit identical on an F4i and sit flush to the plastic. If the Hotbodies flush mount signals do infact bubble out on an F4i then perhaps I will order them. I do like the looks of that.

Hotbodies are by far the best looking flushmounts for the money. There are some that look better but they will cost you.

They don't really bubble out. They are only slightly visible from the front, but somebody in a car 100 feet in front of you wouldn't even notice them. The stock signals are your best choice if you want your signals to be noticed from the front. Flush mounts are cosmetic.

there are selections of forward-facing signals that are drastically smaller than those huge factory eye-stalks. i chose that route specifically for the added forward visibility.

or you could always try an integrated mirror mod

Yea, they don't really stick out much, but I suppose there not exactly flush either. They do bubble slightly, but I really wouldn't count on a cager seeing any flush mounts while driving towards you. If safety is one of your main concerns, flush mounts are not a good option. I think I bought mine from xdcycles.com for less then $40 shipped, not to bad.

Hmm. Alright well thanks for the input. I'll keep it into consideration. I might keep looking for another week or so before I pull the trigger on buying something.
