Isn't there an aftermarket exhaust hanger that deletes the passenger peg????

I dropped off some stuff to get powdercoated today (pics will follow!) and I'm thinking of just leaving the rear passenger pegs off....but I obviously need an exhaust hanger

I thought there was a company that made them, but I did a search & on google only came up with a place in England selling them, and on ebay there was a cheesy looking thin piece of aluminum one.

there's one on ebay...but it's like $30.
woodyracing has one similar on his f4i.

It's just some thinaluminum with some holes drilled in it. It would work, but not the look I'm going for.

Well I did find that "Harris Performance" makes one for our bikes & I found it for $60 from bikebandit.com, but didn't have any actual pictures of it.

So that seems to be the only option to buy one.

OR I'm gonna try and modify the stock bracket!

 

I have one I made from aluminum looks like the one you posted from ebay that you said look like garbage but no holes since Im no longer using it you are welcome to haveit just pay the shipping

Hey I wasn't trying to offend you or anything......if someone makes it for free, that's cool

But to charge $30 and it not look that great.....come on now. Like I said it's just a thin piece of aluminum with 2 bends and 5 holes drilled in it. Cool if they're making money on it, but I'd like to see a nicer piece

 

Just take a hacksaw and a file to it and put it in the "to be powdercoated" box, that's what I did and it looks great.

 

Well I went ahead and ordered the Harris Performance bracket in black for $60 and I'll see how it looks when it shows up since I couldn't find actual pictures of the one for the F4i.

If it looks stupid, then I'll send it back for a refund and then just modify the stock bracket like you just said (I already thought about it/planned on it)

If it looks alright, then I'll just keep it.
