Advice on buying a 2005 CBR600 F4i

I'm located 30 minutes from San Francisco in Northern Cali. Previous reply was correct. I'm now having a hard time trying to find that bike. Have been monitoring CL for about a week and have seen no postings yet. The bikes on Cycletrader are overpriced and shipping is too high. I'll go as far as Southern Cal to pic one up but that's far as I will travel for one. A store in Southern Cal has the bike costing about 1k more than the other guy and the bike has 5k more miles on it. I have missed out on 5 bikes so far which was due to not acting fast enough. The next one will not get away. If anyone knows or sees that bike for sale...please let me know. Thanks

You shouldn't buy the panels. Coolblue, have you searched for that color scheme? Not only is it hard to find, I've sent pictures of my own bike of companies claiming to have the color scheme only to have them tell me that "It's not the same one they sell." And you'd have to buy the tank to match, because there's no way you'd ever match the paint for this red.
As much as I like the scheme, and wish I could go back to it, price wise, it's not worth it. Sure buying it is, even if you have to pay a little more. However to convert it wouldn't be worth it. It'll be at least $1000 before you're done. That's just for the tank and non OEM fairings.
