whats the fastest you've gone before you nearly sharted yourself? for how long? on what bike? street or track? would you do it again? country road i hit a legit 152 (radar; friend is a state trooper) on my 00'r6. shut her down just after reaching 152. my underwear were gettin greasy thinkin about deer, rabbits, possums, and turtles. haven't felt the need todo that again on the street. i think too much. too many varaiables for me.

303 kmhr (189mph)on my friend's GSXR 1000 K6 - held it for maybe 30 seconds then slow down for a turn and then back again. Even crazierwas 153 mph in a tunnel on my little F4i (not to be redone though).. The bike was comfortable at that speed. I was kind of dissapointed cos suzuki claims it can do up to 315 but it kind of blocked at that speed, maybe the road was slightly uphill... dunno.

well said mate! who cares about top speed? Any1 can push his bike to its limits in astraight line, no skills in that. Cornering gives the buzz!

Tahoe, you're a funny dude.

Scarriest for me was last year I met at the Blvd with these guys that I didn't know. We had agreed to take a twisty road (can't remember the name right now). It's getting dark so we all decide that if we're going it's gotta be now. We had to hustle down Rte 4 to get there.

Pass 100 no big deal for me, I'm comfortable past 120, but these dudes were mostly on 1000s and they're lane splitting & cutting heavy traffic. I saw my speedo climbing through 140 and decide that this is STUPID. I keep going.
At about 150 I decide that I'm not going any faster and slow to 130.

We meet at the gas station and everyone needs gas. We wasted too much time, and by now it's dark. There's about 12 of us and about 10 of us had dark shields, myself included.

We make a quick right and quick left onto the twisty road, andthe road drops from under me unexpectedly, and I know now I'm in deep Kimshee. (I later went back to that road to find about a 10 ft drop)

The trees form a conopy, there's no street lights, there's blind turns...it was scary as crap. I had to lift my shield just to maintain 40 mph. The crowd pulled away from me. About 1/2 way in, I realize that I have no idea where I am and thinking about turning back, but due to ego and the fear of getting lost I keep going. Luckily one rider stays behind me and reassures me that he's not going to leave me and he knows the road and that I can take my time.

When we finally catch the group, head count comes up 1 short. We turn around to find him about 1/2 mile back. He was in the lead 3 and said that he was waving at everyone after putting hisGSXR1K6 in a ditch, but none of us saw him including myself and the rider behind me pulling up the rear.

That was even scarier than this post that I made almost a year ago
