Hey eveyone. I'm new to the site and was looking for some thoughts or info on some things i wanna do with my bike. I've only been riding for a few years, starting with an 06 ninja 650R, then a 96 cbr 600 f3, now my 99 f4.

I'm sure I'm not the only person that's thought of doing this, but i really like the look of the 2000 F4I dual headlights rather than the single headlight on the F4, and was just wondering if anyone has fabbed the F4I front upper on the F4.

For the most part they look very similar, relatively same shape and ram air slots. I'm not sure how they'd line up with the lower fairings or where the mounting holes/brackets are compared to the F4, but it looks like it wouldn't be too much of a nightmare to get them to fit.

I also thought of just using both the front upper and lower fairings from the F4I, but i'm not sure how close the lower mounting holes and brackets are compared to the F4.

Has anyone done or tried this? Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

edit: I found a post in the F4 forums that says something about this, but not much details. If anyone has anything to add that would be great.
