520 Chain Coversion (-1, +2), would you get it again?

I love mine- added a little extra get up. I stayed with the 525 chain and sprockets though.
My only complaint is that highway riding is a little loud since the RPMs are higher but I'm only on it for a half hour at a time or so.
If you plan to take hour long trips on the highway (who does that on a bike anyways!), then stock may be for you.

My opinion is that because road riders spend very very little time at wide open throttle or using the whole rev range there isn't a real benefit from altered gearing. The only benefit is really seen in first gear because for the other 5, you could just stay in a lower gear for longer; 1st gear will now be shorter and you'll need to change up earlier anyway. Most people get them (stunters excluded) to get more pull whilst cruising at highway/motorway speeds not when near the redline and not at WOT, if this is the case then you may as well just cruise in lower gear.
Drawbacks don't outweigh the benefits IMO, each to their own though, it doesn't bother me how anyone spends their cash.
