3 vent hoses???

Hey everyone!

Just yesterday I changed the air filter on my bike (new one made such difference!!!). Putting everything apart and back, I noticed that there were only 2 vent hoses down the fairing.

Am I missing something, or it's intended? The bike is '02.

Thanks!

There should be three. It's probably just snaked somewhere else around the inside of the bike. Find it! :)

Where could they be coming from?

They all exit the same place, on the lower left side of the left fairing, down by the shifter. If two are there, the third will be hanging out somewhere. One is a vent, one is the overflow drain and the third one is...help me out someone, I forget what the third one is.

Too tired to look it up.

Coolant overflow, fuel overflow, fuel breather.

Is there three as well for an 05', I've only ever noticed 2 on mine for years now. Hope nothing is getting ruined.

Yes, three on the 05, too. I have an 06 which also has three.

not sure but the California model might only have two?

Audi_F4i, I think this is the case.
As Aken has mentioned there are two of fuel overflow, fuel breather hoses. I'd assume that both are coming from the tank. If it's true, then on my bike one is connected to a metal canister underneath the bike, and another one goes to the left side of the fairing.

I guess that's California edition...

That's true, those with the 02 sensor deal (CA models and all 06 F4i) might have one of the tubes running somewhere else instead of down by the fairing.
