What are they going to replace it with? Are they not going to carry a 'sport touring' bike anymore?

Kawi has the zzr (I wish they kept the <2005 model) and yama has the yzf600r... suzuki has the bandit/sv. Honda? 599 I guess.
The "Sport Tourer" is the Interceptor 800, although it is less sporty that the F4i

I'm sad, they need an F5 even if it is called an RR

Gaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!! [:@]
Bonus will be here untill 2nd week of December...
I'll talk to the dealer on putting some money down to reserve an f4i (if they have any left)....

hmm. i'd rather spend half the money on a good condition 03 than buy a new (banana seat) f4i.

but some people like to buy new, that's cool too.

That is an option too, but I'm no mechanic, nor do I know any mechanic I would trust to inspect a used bike.
There's the chance to get an abused bike that looks like new.
I've bought used cars, but with a bike, I'd prefer not to risk it...

Yeah i understand.

What the F4i and honda has going for it though, is that these bikes are absolute tanks. my bike was rescued from a stunter who put 34000 miles on it, and the thing has been perfect for the 4000 miles i've been riding it.

All honda F's are pretty durable, reliable bikes--my F2 had something like 46,000 miles, and i know there's a couple of F4i riders here w/ 60-70k.

when buying a used bike, i think the key is not only judging the bike, but the owner as well. as harsh as that sounds, you can often tell w/in a few minutes of talking whether they'd be on top of stuff like oil changes, valve adjustments, etc.

Hi all there !

To Voodoochyl:

Are you sure that ergos is better in the RR 2007 than the 2006 ?
and, the handle bars are modified ?

To all:

I wonder what machine would you in the next years similar to the F4i ?
I do not know anything similar ![:@]

Yes, Jorge. It isn't much, but it must make a difference. According to Cycle World: "Honda's designers focused on a lower center of gravity and mass centralization, while moving the rider .6 of an inch back in the seat for improved comfort. Likewise, the handlebars were raised .4 of an inch.

It would be badass if Honda made a production 800cc sportbike! Bigger than the RR and not an interceptor!

Now that would be my next ride!
