2006 seat lock won't work!!
 

My 2006 has a competition werkes FE, and the key turns in the lock, but the seat will not open. I searched, but could not find a way to do this. anyone have ideas??

Turn and hold the key turned
Grab the back of the seat
Pull the seat back towards the tail.

Should slide back and up.

Once I look into my seat lock and i saw that the bolt was nearly to fall out, that made my seat looks like it was loose, i tighten the bolt and that's it.

Maybe your lock cable is out of the lock and that's why it won't open, the only way i think you can open your seat is making a hole in your black plastic undertail just below the lock...but that is just my opinion...

the cable tightens slightly if the lock turns. I'll have it taken to a dealer--i have roadside assistance :(

why dont you just take the undertail off and get to it that way? You dont need to have the seat off in order to take the undertail off. You should clearly be able to see the cable and latch and figure out why it isnt operating it.
