2004 Honda CBR 600f4i NO SPARK
Excellent on the Red/White. Not sure what you're referring to on "the other". Can you clarify what you mean by that?
Next check, do you have 12v on the Black/White wire of that same Engine Stop Relay connector?

Hi guys, new to the forum, and new to cbr (got my licence a year ago!)
Having the same issue with no spark (bike started fine 2 weeks ago, haven't started since), and now trying to work my way backwards. does anyone have recommendations on what may be wrong?
If it works, I'll update on the solution so others can try too

Do you get fuel-pump prime when you’ve turned key ON, kill=RUN?
Follow my F4i troubleshooting guide here and post your measured numbers at each step. There’s most likely just one error somewhere. But MANY places that can be problem.

Hi Dan,
The fuel pump primes (and works - I can smell petrol when cranking)
Have pulled the spark plug coils to test for spark, no spark. Engine stop relay reads 12v on the red/white cable (opposite pure black cable) to ground (6 when connected to frame, 12 when on exhaust for some weird reason)
Will have a look at those steps you mentioned, thanks for sending through

Appears you may have some ground issues. We’ll find that as part of troubleshooting process.
OK, if pump primes, then skip to Step-9a & 9b power-output from engine-stop relay. This powers ECU, coils and injectors.
Skip 10, 11, 12 since we know fuel-pump relay is working

Hey mate!
Running out of time to diagnose this given work starts tomorrow, so bringing a mechanic in to finish the job. I'll pass him your guide and keep you guys updated on what the result is.
Happy New Year to everyone - hoping to be more active here as I get some more use out of the cbr!

So my mechanic came back and said it was the pickup coil - no continuity and FI code 18. Replaced it and is now running again!
Apparently it's a common fault with the cbr600f4i
Hope this helps others!
