2003 f4i Paintjob - price?
I have a completely black f4i, with a silver front end (The bike use to be the red/black colors) I want to get the entire bike re-painted into a solid black. I have been calling around for prices and was wondering if any of you knew a round-about good price for a solid black/clear coat (no body dmg) paint job. The prices I have been getting vary from 570-1200 USD.. I live in Central Kentucky, if anyone knows the area if Lexington and is browsing the forums
Thanks guys,
RJ

I live in florence ky I have a buddy that could do it pretty cheap if you can tear the bike down. He did mine using industrial paint it is actually made for Lincoln welders only cost me 17 bucks for everything because it was left over from another client. He has alot of colors of similar paint but He can do base clear but would be a little more expensive. ill call him in the morning and see what he says

Prices you quoted are a good range.
I had my F4i done here in Florida and it came to $900. I removed the parts and gave the shop tanks, fenders, fairings and so on. He did a terrific job, including putting on the decals.
A year after the work was done, a repair on the gas tank near the top began leaking. I took it back and he fixed the repair and repainted the tank at no charge.
A good shop and I've had two bikes done there.

It shouldnt be anymore than 500. If you disassemble it yourself and take all the old graphics off. Thats easy money. Call up Center City Collision. They are located in Norwood. Its probably about a 25 minute ride from Florence,KY. I know they do good work there and you should get a reasonable price.
