2003 CBR600f4i - Not starting
Whats happenin CBR fam...So I'm working on my recently acquired bike, however I've encountered some issues along the way.
Novice mechanic --- Manly 4 wheeled cages, also known as cars and trucks
2003 CBR600f4i about 18,000 miles on it
-Sat for 1.5 years in garage
-Only need a regulator rectifier per previous owner, who happens to be my lil bro.
-I also have the Haynes manual in color for this bike
So work that I've done...
-Replaced Regulator Rectifier
-Replaced Spark Plugs (NGK iridium of course)
-Replaced Gas Full Tank (87 to start)
-Oil Change (Full Synthetic)
-Coolant Flush (Engine Added)
-New Battery
-Bike is currently in my garage on bike stands
Of course after doing all of this, the bike won't start
-Fuel Pump does not prime
-Tried jumping fuel pump relay, nothing
-Did feel fuel pump relay "click", but not priming
-No rust in gas tank either
-No gas going to fuel rail
-Fuel hose looks/feels dry
-Took hose off of fuel rail, no leakage from tank?
-Checked all fuses...none blown
-Wiring Harness looks good
-Instrument Cluster lights up normally
-Headlights work, well the high beam does currently
-Thinking the normal headlight is out?
-Kill switch relay works, hear click
-Bike does crank/turnover
-Bike does not start
I think that's it...any assistance the CBR fam can provide is greatly appreciated.

Update...so in looking at the headlight wires they looked ok, once I actually felt it, I knew something was wrong. The wire was way too stiff, and the connector on the ends starting breaking off while try to unplug the connectors. I will update with more info once completed.
UPDATE...so I replaced the headlight wires...had one of my boys, who actually works on and races bikes, take a look at it. He said I need a fuel pump. Ok I called Honda and they said 480 for the fuel pump...$480, it's for a bike not a car...Any other suggestions on where to get a reasonably priced fuel pump in working order for a 2003 honda cbr600f4i???
I checked Ebay and of course they have all sorts from $35 - $250, I just don't know which one to get. It just seems weird the price range is that much of a difference. Any suggestions? BTW, apparently the fuel pump went bad because of the old gas sitting in there for about 2 years. I did try to jump/bypass the fuel pump to see if it would prime, no dice.
How does that change anything? Car or bike its still an electric pump that moves fuel at a pre-determined rate and pressure. Besides, bikes are low volume, so price per part is higher.
Either find a used one or buy oem. Don't get a chinese ebay one if they are even available.
