hi, i purchased this bike this year (2003) cbr F4i), after riding a 2000 yamaha r6.... just a quick question on the reserve fuel gauge.... on average how far can you get on this? on my r6 it would come on when i was fairly low on fuel... is this the same with the CBR? or can i get quite a few km's when the reserve comes on? i got about 180km on the tank before the reserve gauge came on... and it came on just as i was pulling into my drive way so i never got to test it out.... any one know how much further i could go with the reserve on? i believe there was 5 bars on it... but how quick do they go down?

 

you can go about 30 to 35 miles if you push it

 

+1 think I push about 22 miles once lol

 

I regularly get 40 miles from when it comes on. YMMV (literally).
