Default 2001 F4i w/ Dead Battery

I have had my bike for about 3 years now but usually dont get to ride a lot because of work and stuff. I put a new battery in it last summer and now this one isn't staying charged either. I can ride it for a good 3-4 hours and the next day when I go to start it, it is already dead. I know the clock on this bike stays on all the time, could it be killing my batterys so often or do I have another problem somewhere?
Thanks, Aaron

You've got another problem dude. That clock couldn't drain your battery that fast.

I would say replace the battery again. If you are never riding it, you are killing the batteries. Remove the battery if it is going to sit for an extended time.

if you ride it 3-4 hrs and the next day it doesnt start i would say its somthing to do with your internal recharging system i.e. altenator or what not

or if the battery is completely GONE like mine was. My bike had been sitting a while before I bought it. I put a new battery in it and make sure to ride it at LEAST once a week and it has been fine.

yup a battery tender is the way to go for sure, i have one and i love it. I dont have to take the battery out of the bike i can just hook up the cables and let it be. but your best bet is to take your bike into the local bike shop and get them to check if your alternator is working, actually i dont think its called an alternator but there is an internal recharging system (IRS....... huh wierd!), but good luck.
