2001 F4i Cutting off
 

I've been on the road moving at a substantial speed then all of a sudden my console flashes all indicators and numbers (as if resetting) then my bike shuts off. The bike jerks and cuts off inexplicably. I pull the bike to the side of the road turn it off then turn it back on and it runs like nothing every happened. Needless to say this is some scary and dangerous shyte cuz it happened while I was in the 120mph range. Anyone have any idea what it could be? When I start her up there are no FI light codes.

No reason to ever be gonig 120 on the road.

That being said Check your battery if the connections are even a bit loose this will happen. Try tightening them down with a socket wrench.

I'll check the battery connection tonight. Any other ideas?

I was test riding a bike once and while going down the road it just cut off from me, no power or anything. Granted it was an older cruiser, the solenoid was loose and was cutting in and out. so that may be something to check
