Hey guys! I have an 01 f4i. I was out riding one night, brought it back home. Then went out to ride the next morning and it would crank but not fire up. So I check my grounds, fuses, relays. Everything was good. The fuel pump would prime at the time but I didn’t get any power to the plugs or coils. So i took off the wire harnesses to double check them all, and check the connectors. They were all good. I installed to coils and plugs and put the wire harness back in and now the fuel pump won’t prime and i’m still not getting getting power to any of the plugs or coils. I tried to jump the fuel pump relay to see if it would even turn on. It didn’t work. Also the two relays in the back, one one clicks when i turn the kills switch on. I was wondering if it could be the zener diode in the ignition switch. But im not sure how to test it. If i get a new ignition set and install it will it work? Like plug and play. Or does that specific ignition switch have to be programmed to my specific bike? Could really use some help!?
