2001 CBR F4I fuel pump and injector not working properly

Hi, I hoping some one can help me figure out what my problem is with my f4i. :icon_doh:I put the key in the ignition and I do not hear the fuel pump come on any more, we then provided it with current and the pump turns on. :icon_bike:Now the f4i does turn over but does not have that :icon_urinal:spark to fire up, all electrical has been double checked from fuses to relay. :icon_shrug:My guess is that the fuel pump and the injectors are not getting any current or power. can some help,:icon_hyper: please ask for more info if needed, thank you

Eager to ride :icon_teeth:

Check the safety switches. Start with making sure the kill switch (big red button on the right handlebar) is in the run position. Is the headlight hooked up? There is a BAS (bank angle sensor) attached to the headlight right in the center on the back side. To bypass this sensor unplug the harness and hook up a jumper (a wire) to the two outter wires. Could be the kickstand switch, but as long as the bike is in neutral it should still start, it'll just die when you put it in gear.

When you turn your key on what do your gauges look like.

I do not have the head light. Do i need it in order for the bike to start. Already tried to pull start and ilt just won't fire up. just turns over.

I turn the key and the left side of the N lights and stays on and the right side of the N (FI) light does not come on at all.

Thanks you guys for the quick response..

Well theres your issue. You do need the headlight hooked up for the bike to run. Plug it in and it should be good.

You dont need the headlight, you need the BAS that is attached to it. Or jump it out like I previously stated. But thats your problem.

I would say just jump it if you don't have a headlight. Do you still have the headlight harness?

Just want to clear up my earlier post. You do not physically need the headlight plugged in but you do need the headlight harness plugged in which has the BAS and the gray connector that runs down by the ram air intake that plugs into the main harness. I assumed that the if the headlight is not in then harness isn't either. Make sure that the harness is plugged in with the BAS upright.
