Default -2 +2 sprockets

i got these sprockets off my friend ..he didnt use them so i thought id try them out, i went from stock to those, and wow what a differnce 4 gear power wheelies, but i have liek a top speed of 75mph, ..lol i took them off tonight, stock gear ratio is 2.8, the -2+2 is 3.4, i think im going to try 16 front 48 rear, that goves me a 3.0 gear ratio and see how that is.

Stock is 16/46, so 16/48 is only a small change.

I have 15/47 and find it to be the best balance of power gain, without dropping too much top speed or adding too many RPM's on the highway.

-1/+2 felt a tad too much, but I may go back to that. The only real problem was the high rpm's on the freeway. At 75mph I was at 7500rpm. Going to only a +1 rear sprocket with -1 up front puts me at 7000rpm at 75mph.

yea i had a 15-45 on my F4i and i hated it! i guess its because i am used to having 85 ft pounds of tourqe... lol..(triumph Tiger) so i went back to stock (16/46) i drive on the free way every day so i like having the lower rpms... btw have you guys ever looked at the new Triumph 675?? It took first place in cycle world!

Im running 16/48 right now and am happy with it. I have only noticed improvment, so no loss in top end. The only downside is my speedo is just more inaccurate.

140mph is the top speed with that gearing on the road, but that is plenty fast for me.
