This topic always cracks me up. Break the bike in as you would normally ride it. Load the motor, don't red line it, and don't run at one constant speed. If you have to run at a constant speed, shift throught the gears to get the revs up. Full synthetic "CAN" be put in a brand new motor with out any harm. The only reason you shouldn't use it at first is because the non synthetic oil doesn't lube as well, and it will break in a little faster. These motors are built to such tight tolerances that it will break in pretty quick. I went to full race synthetic on mine at 150 miles. I have 7000 miles and it runs like it did when new. I am 105hp to the tire on mine. If you have your first 600 miles on it, it is ready for full synthetic. No question!
