15 tooth front 46 tooth rear

Right now my bike has a 52 tooth sprocket on the rear and I don't like it at all. I have a 15 front and a 46 rear that came with the bike. How much of a difference is this going to make on the bike?

I'm looking for a higher top speed. I'm almost maxed out on the highway and little old ladys are still passing me.

I just got an acceleration kit for the bike and I think it is one less on the front and stock 46 on rear and I really like it. I cant imagine a 52 in the rear, isnt that for stunting? Go ahead and put them on if you already have them. Is the 52 the only thing you have ridden on? YO will like the stock setup, little old ladies will not pass you, that is hilarious.

Yeah I hear its a stunt sprocket. And it is all I have ever felt.

Oh my goodness you are most likely missing out on a nice ride...you probably have torque out the ass dont you?

Get those other ones on and enjoy yourself. Sell that stunt sprocket.

Yes ungodly amounts. but I bought the bike to cruise and chill out on. Right now its not really what I want.

So the 15/46 will be what I'm looking for?

Lowridese 07-02-2010 10:09 PM

You will be very happy with 15/46.

hey man not trying to be a vulture but if you want to sell that sprocket how much would you want to sell it for?

crashking 07-03-2010 12:06 AM

I have a 58 tooth its was on it when I bought it a few months ago

I've been slowly getting this bile that I have look running good and a sprocket set is next .I'm going to go with -1 +2

vangill 07-03-2010 01:50 AM

a 52 is like a -1/+2 maybe a -1/+3 at most. u cant be topped out on the highway with that thing. my buddies stunt with 60t rears and still ride highway. i ride a 51 t rear and at 70 im only at 7k rpms. to me thats not THAT high. a 51 is a -1/+2 if u go by the -1t front = +3t rear, but my dealership says its more like a +4 rear=-1t fron and ive read online its close to 3.5 or 3.75 teeth. not saying u should keep your 52 if u dont like it, but its not a stunt sprocket either, just more in between

but u should not be topped out with it and be havin old ladys pass u on the highway.

Its annoying on the highway. The slightest let off on the throttle and the bike wants to stop. I can ride 6th gear almost to a stop. Not to mention I would like to use my speedometer.

I don't even know what the sprockets and chain are worth. Pm what you want to pay.

-1 +2 stuff is just jargen to me. It means nothing to me. This is my first bike and I'm pretty new. So if someone want to use laymans terms it would be greatly appreciated.
