Default 112HP F4i..?

Seen this listing on my local craigslist. 2002 Honda Cbr 600 F4i Claiming 112hp w/k&n, pc3, and full exhaust. I emailed him saying I was interested in his bike and asked for a dyno chart proving his 112hp claim. This was his response, "As for the dyno that was back in 2006 when I had it dyno'd at Mikes cycle, unfortunately I don't have the chart any more. Bike is about 95 HP stock, add the exhaust, K&N filter PC III it's 112 HP +/- 1 to 2 HP. If you search online for a dyno of a cbr 600 F4i they come back with 90 - 95 stock HP, add the PC III they come back 101 - 105 HP, but I can't find any with my particular exhaust." I figure he's bs-ing, but thought I'd ask the F4i community what you guys think.

I think you shouldn't believe craigslist ads. Same goes for ebay. And yes 112hp at the crank, not the wheel.

Stock bhp is 109 and i think 96 at the wheel, somone on this forum pushed 100 hp at the wheel with a slip-on and pc3, but that sounds way high.

I'd find it plausible. Consider variations in MPG; some bikes will get 33, some will get 43. I don't think it's likely, but plausible.

Does he have an aftermarket parts sticker package? Those are always good for 5-10 HP

I wouldn't rule it out that he was actually told that's what it dyno'ed at. However, various things can affect the ratings. Maybe their dyno sucks. Or the PCIII has a crappy map on it which is actually hurting the motor, even though providing more power.

That said, it takes a lot to get to that kind of power on an F4i. So while it has some possibility, I'd steer clear.

I'm not looking to buy it or anything have my own F4i that I love already. It just caught my curiosity so I figured the easiest way to see if it really put down 112 was to contact him showing interest in his bike and as for a dyno chart for proof. Which he "lost". Thought maybe it was possible seeing we have one of the top custom dynojet dyno tuning companies in the U.S. in our backyard. Fuel Moto After hearing it was not dyno'd there and that he lost the dyno sheet I figured he was full of sheet.

Sounds reasonable to me if he had that Powercommander Fine tuned to that that exhaust and K&N, if its just a map outta the website, i hardly doubt he will be pushing 112
